Welcome to Willow Class

Hello,
Our reception and year one pupils are taught in Willow Class. Mrs Ley is the class teacher and is supported by PPA teacher Mrs Tedds, and Teaching Assistants Mrs Ocock, Mrs Gray, Miss Whinton, Mrs Dark and Mrs Simms.
Creating positive and stimulating learning experiences for our youngest pupils is at the heart of everything we do. We ensure that our children have a love of learning and we nurture their natural curiosity to allow them to blossom as they begin on their learning journey at Lacock School.
Willow Class enjoy making the most of our beautiful village and the surrounding countryside. We regularly enjoy the great outdoors as we learn about the world around us.
Willow Class also love their phonics learning. Each week the children are challenged to search for objects at home linked to a letter sound. The children love sharing what they have found with each other on Monday morning. Even the adults join in too as it is so much fun!
We use Tapestry an online learning journal that builds a very special record of a child’s experiences, development and learning throughout their time with us. Using photos, videos, and comments, we along with our parents or carers ‘weave’ the story of each child and how they are growing and developing. For more information, see the link below.
Drop off and pick up times are 8.45am and 3.15pm
