We aim to keep school uniform:
- Practical and easy to wear so the children can get on with learning
- Easy to look after

Uniform
PE Kit
House colour T-shirts (branded T-shirts available from Scholars in Chippenham, https://scholars-uk.com/ at £6.50 or non-branded from most supermarkets) are red, blue and green. Please speak to the class teacher if you do not know which house your child is in and they will be able tell you.
Notes on Uniform:
Children are expected to change for PE lessons on their own as soon as they start at school and polo shirts are much easier to take off than a shirt or blouse with lots of buttons.
Tights make changing for PE much slower - socks are a good idea for PE days.
We try to do PE outside as often as possible, especially in Oak and Beech classes, and trainers are much better than daps for outside PE.
During colder weather children should have a tracksuit or similar to wear for outside PE so their regular uniform doesn't get wet and muddy.
School book bags are available at the school office
For health and safety reasons, open-toed sandals or shoes with heels should not be worn at school.
Please label all clothing with your child’s name
- Blue sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo
- White shirt / blouse or polo shirt
- Grey trousers, dresses or skirts
- Black shoes (no open toe sandals, trainers, or high heels)
- Blue and white gingham dresses may be worn in the summer term
- Makeup, including eyeliner, mascara and nail varnish, are not permitted
- Watches and plain stud ear piercings are the only jewellery/accessories allowed. Piercings must be removed and long hair should be tied back on PE days for Health and Safety reasons.
