SCHOOL UNIFORM
We aim to keep school uniform:
We aim to keep school uniform:
- Practical and easy to wear so the children can get on with learning
- Easy to look after
- Simple
- Affordable
- Uniform items with the school logo (sweatshirts / cardigans / PE shirts) are available from Scholars in Chippenham - click here to view - other items may be bought from Scholars or other suppliers and supermarkets often provide the best prices.
Uniform
Blue and white gingham dresses may be worn in the summer term
PE Kit
Jewellery
Apart from watches and stud earrings jewellery must not be worn at school. For Health & Safety reasons during P.E lessons earrings must be removed and long hair should always be tied back.
Notes on Uniform:
Children are expected to change for PE lessons on their own as soon as they start at school and polo shirts are much easier to take off than a shirt or blouse with lots of buttons.
Tights make changing for PE much slower - socks are a good idea for PE days.
We try to do PE outside as often as possible, especially in Oak and Beech classes, and trainers are much better than daps for outside PE.
During colder weather children should have a tracksuit or similar to wear for outside PE so their regular uniform doesn't get wet and muddy.
School book bags are available at the school office
For health and safety reasons, open-toed sandals or shoes with heels should not be worn at school.
Please label all clothing with your child’s name
