Paid School Meals Update
Dear Parent/Guardian,
I’m writing to you with information on our pricing changes that will be implemented with the new school year from 1st September 2022*
Key stage 2* paid for meals will increase by 4% to £2.60 per meal (an extra 10p per meal, which is £19 per school year). We know we don’t need to explain how the cost of food, fuel and staff have significantly increased due to world events recently, and we have been proactively trying to mitigate these rising costs. We don’t make these changes lightly and therefore we are doing everything within our power to keep cost increases for our families as low and affordable as possible. Please contact us if you would like any further information and we would be happy to help. .
Please call us at SBC if you would like further information about these changes. T: 01672 519200
If your child receives *free school meals* (or is in *Key stage 1*), the cost of meals will remain free at point of access for you (if you would like to find out more information about the price increase of these meals please contact us and we would happy to give you a breakdown of the figures).
