Richard Hearn (Headteacher)
Mr Hearn has been teaching for 24 years and worked both in the UK and overseas. He has been at Lacock for three years, having moved from Bath where he was deputy head at a much larger junior school.
Ashleigh Whitbread (Beech Class Teacher)
Mrs Whitbread teaches Beech Class (Years 2 and 3). She is Maths Subject Leader.
Sara Tedds (Support Teacher)
Mrs Tedds works in school on Mondays and Thursdays and supports Willow and Beech Classes, working with individual pupils and small groups.
Lucy Simms (Teaching Assistant)
Mrs Simms works with Willow Class during the afternoons to support the children's learning. She also supervises children at lunchtimes. She enjoys gardening and helps the children growing strawberries and beans.
Helen Alford (Teaching Assistant)
Mrs Alford works in Beech Class to support children's learning.
Sheila Gardner (Finance Officer)
Mrs Gardner handles all the financial affairs of the school, making sure that all the bills are paid and all money received goes to the bank. She helps set the school budget and deals with contractors working at school.
Ann White (Oak Class Teacher)
Mrs White teaches Oak Class (Years 4, 5 and 6). She is English Subject Leader and Deputy Designated Person with responsibility for Child Protection. She has been at Lacock for 5 years.
Ali Ley (Willow Class Teacher)
Mrs Ley teaches Willow Class (Reception and Year 1). She is Art and Design Subject Leader. She has been at Lacock for 7 years.
Kate Butler (Support Teacher)
Mrs Butler works in school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and supports Oak Class in particular, working with individual pupils and small groups.
Rachael McHenry (Teaching Assistant)
Mrs McHenry works with Oak Class to support the children's learning. She also supervises children at lunchtimes.
Rosamund Millet (Teaching Assistant)
Mrs Millett is a teaching assistant and midday supervisor for Beech class, working with the children in years 2 and 3. Previously she has worked in Oak class. She has two children and enjoys her time in the countryside and on the coasts of Devon and Cornwall.
Lucinda Prater (Admin Officer)
Mrs Prater is the school's Admin Officer. She handles a huge range of tasks in the office and is most likely the person you will first have contact with, either by phone, email or if you should visit.
Claire Cursiter (SENCo)
Mrs Cursiter works at school on Thursdays, coordinating the support for children who might need additional help. She works with the teachers and other adults to make sure all the right strategies are in place and liaises with other professionals and agencies.
