Lantern Parade
We had a wonderful evening for our annual Lantern Parade. It was incredible to see so many members of our school and village community come together for such a special, beautiful evening.
There are lots of people to thank for supporting the evening, including Ms. Crowe who led the lantern making workshop, St Cyriac's Church for bringing along their band and singers, and the National Trust who have helped faciliate the entire event, hosting us in their courtyard, opening up the Great Hall and providing mulled wine and mince pies!
Finally, a big thank you goes to Sam and Ellie from the Lacock Shop and Deli for feeding us all before the evening and very generously donating all of the profits to the Friends of Lacock School.
Nativity
On Tuesday 10th December, Willow Class performed their Nativity – A Bundle of Joy – to family and friends in two spectacular performances! The children worked so hard to learn their lines and pulled off a funny, beautiful and very special performance to bring Christmas spirit to the whole community!
Thank you to the children and families of Willow Class for working so hard to prepare, and thank you to the whole Willow Class staff team who dedicated so much time to help put on such an amazing performance. A special thank you goes to Mrs Ley, Mrs Green and Mrs Simms for orchestrating the entire production and Mr Hillier for the fantastic photographs!
The Little Mermaid
What a wonderful performance! On Friday 12th December, our whole school got on a double decker coach and travelled to The Watermill Theatre in Newbury to watch The Little Mermaid!
The performance was utterly mesmerising, incredibly clever and wonderful to watch! The children were mesmerised by the costumes, scene changes, props, characters, instruments, singing and more, and to see everything so up close and personal was amazing!
